Decorative Concrete Services
Custom stamped patterns, rich color options, and premium finishes that transform ordinary concrete into extraordinary surfaces.
What decorative concrete finishes does McCaslin offer?
McCaslin Concrete installs decorative concrete in Evansville & Newburgh, IN for homeowners and businesses: stamped concrete, colored concrete, stained concrete, exposed aggregate, decorative borders and concrete overlays. Color goes into or onto the concrete rather than a coating that peels, patterns are pressed or revealed while the surface is workable, and every finish is sealed.

Integral color is a pigment mixed into the entire batch of concrete, producing a uniform color throughout the slab. Color hardener is a powder broadcast onto the surface and troweled in, creating a denser surface with more intense, vibrant color. Integral is simpler and more uniform; hardener is harder and more vivid. We can use either or both depending on your project goals.

Acid stains contain metallic salts that react chemically with the concrete, producing rich, variegated earth tones with a natural, marbled look. Water-based stains use pigments that penetrate the surface and offer a wider range of colors including brighter hues, with more consistent and predictable coverage. Both types are durable and penetrating. We help you choose based on the look you want.

Stamping must be done during the pour while the concrete is fresh and workable — it cannot be applied to existing, cured concrete. However, we offer concrete overlay systems that can create a stamped or textured decorative surface over existing concrete without full replacement. Ask us about overlay options.
