McCaslin Concrete Contractors, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a family-owned concrete contractor based in Evansville, IN. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit mccaslinconcreteco.com, fill out one of our forms, or otherwise contact us; why we collect it; who processes it on our behalf; how long we keep it; and the choices you have. We wrote it to match how the website actually works, and we update it when the website changes.

What Each Form Collects

You only give us personal information when you choose to fill out a form. Fields marked optional on the form are exactly that.

If you phone, email or message us on social media, we keep a record of that conversation and the contact details you use so we can follow up.

When you ask us about a project through the estimate or contact form, we also add your email address to our weekly concrete tips — one email in a week when we publish something new. Every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your estimate.

Information Collected Automatically With a Form

Like most small businesses, we receive far more automated spam through our forms than real enquiries. To keep the forms usable we record a few technical details with every submission and use them only to tell people from bots and to stop abuse:

• IP address — to rate-limit repeated submissions and recognise repeat abuse.
• Browser user agent — the browser and device type your submission came from.
• Referring page — the page on our site (or the site that linked you) from which you submitted the form.
• Timing — how long the form was open before you pressed submit (scripts fill forms in milliseconds; people do not).
• Spam-check result — the pass/fail outcome from Cloudflare Turnstile, described below.

These signals, together with the content of your message, produce a spam score that is stored with your submission and shown to our team. A low score can route a submission to a review queue instead of our inbox, where a person looks at it; nothing is deleted automatically. Submissions our filters are certain are automated (for example a hidden field that only scripts fill in) are kept in a quarantine queue that only our team can see — they are never emailed or published, and a person can release one if a filter got it wrong. Alongside each one we keep a count, the browser type, the referring page and a one-way hash of the IP address so we can tune the filters. Newsletter and review submissions caught this way are not stored; only those counts are.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and which of our forms are used). Google Analytics sets cookies for this purpose and receives an anonymised IP address. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to respond to your enquiry and prepare your estimate; to schedule, perform and follow up on your project; to send the newsletter you confirmed you wanted; to moderate and publish reviews you submit; to keep our forms free of spam and abuse; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We never sell, rent or lease your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Third-Party Services

The following companies process data on our behalf to run this website. Each one only receives what it needs for the task described and is bound by its own privacy policy (linked) and its contract with us.

• Vercel privacy policy

  Hosts this website and its server code. Vercel keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page, user agent) to operate and secure the platform.

• Supabase privacy policy

  Runs the database that stores your form submissions and the file storage that holds photos you upload with an estimate request.

• Brevo privacy policy

  Sends our transactional email (estimate confirmations, review thank-yous, newsletter confirmation links) and our newsletter campaigns.

• Cloudflare Turnstile privacy policy

  Runs the spam check on our forms. When the check runs, your browser sends technical signals to Cloudflare to tell a person from an automated script; we receive only a pass/fail result. If the check cannot finish in your browser, your submission still goes through and is scored by our own filters instead.

• Google Maps privacy policy

  Powers the embedded map on our contact and service-area pages. Loading the map sends your IP address and browser details to Google.

• Google Analytics 4 privacy policy

  Measures how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device, which forms are used) using cookies. IP addresses are anonymised.

• Anthropic (Claude API) privacy policy

  Helps us sort genuine enquiries from spam: the text of a contact or estimate submission is sent to the Claude API for a score and a one-line summary. The API does not use this data to train models.

Photos you upload with an estimate request are stored in a storage bucket whose files are reachable by anyone who has the exact, unguessable link. We only place those links in your estimate record and in the notification email to our team. Please avoid uploading photos that show people, licence plates or documents.

How Long We Keep It

We are adopting the retention periods below. They are marked proposed because they have not yet been formally approved; until they are, we keep records only as long as we need them for the purposes above and delete them on request.

Data Security

Every page and form on this site is served over HTTPS. Your submissions are stored in a database that only our signed-in staff can reach, and the links we send to unsubscribe from or confirm the newsletter are cryptographically signed so nobody can act on your address but you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Your Choices & Rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time using the contact details below; we will answer within 30 days. Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe from the unsubscribe page. If you gave text-message consent you can withdraw it by replying STOP to any text or by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

When the website changes in a way that affects your information — a new form field, a new service provider, analytics being switched on — we update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
